| Plaids have endured a bad reputation with quilters and I admit they are not the easiest of design elements but a plaid fabric seems to lend itself to contemporary design. I like the movement that resulted from randomly fusing left over patches on top of madras here. However I do not like the stiff sensation of fused fabric in a bed quilt so I think I shall reserve this timesaving technique for wall quilts where physical sensation is not an issue. |
